Travel by Auto: Officer is reimbursed for mileage at the current TDY rate per mile not to exceed the cost of common carrier.

Travel by Common Carrier (e.g., air): Officer is reimbursed for actual cost of common carrier. Officer must use common carrier if directed on orders.

Per Diem: Officers are not authorized per diem during travel or at training location.

Household Goods (HHG) Transportation: Officers are authorized to transport up to 600 pounds HHG to and from their duty station. Please see information on personally procured transportation.

Travel Advance: Jr. COSTEP officers are not eligible for a travel advance.
