Household Goods (HHG) Transportation

Officers relocating their household goods under a permanent change of station (PCS) order must contact the gaining Agency/OpDiv shipping officer and submit PHS-4013-1, “Application for Shipment of Household Goods” with a copy of the PCS orders. Do not move your household goods until you receive orders. Each Agency and Op/Div has an assigned shipping officer to coordinate the shipment of your household goods. Please see specific contact information below.

The shipping officer will coordinate a site visit to your home to observe your HHG and establish as weight estimate. You will provide the dates for HHG pick-up and delivery and also certify any professional books, papers, and equipment on PHS-4013-1.

Officers required to coordinate their HHG move through Prudential Relocation may call Prudential Relocation’s shipping officer before they their receive PCS orders. Officers working with Prudential Relocation will still need official PCS orders to ship household goods. Do not move your household goods until you receive orders.
