About Us

Workforce Policy and Plans Division (WFPPD)


Responsible for all matters relating to the development of policies and regulations concerning the comprehensive force management of the Corps. WFPPD collaborates with other elements of the Department as appropriate to acquire legal opinions and services as needed. It develops issuances for and maintains the electronic Commissioned Corps Issuance System, as well as regulations required for the management of the Corps. It also develops personnel standards, including commissioning, professional, and officer competency requirements.
