You may search for an Active Duty Officer by either entering a complete 9-digit Social Security Number (no hyphens) OR by completing ALL applicable name fields, bearing in mind that some individuals may not have a middle initial.  The program will search for an exact match of either SSN or NAME.  A search by name will only ascertain if the individual is not on active duty.  The Office of Commissioned Corps Operations cannot confirm the active duty status of an individual without an SSN.
