of Appreciation from Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs)
 Included in this issue is a copy of a
March 30 letter sent by RADM Cristina V. Beato to Dr. William
Winkenwerder, Jr., Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health
Affairs), regarding officers of the Commissioned Corps of the
U.S. Public Health Service (Corps) who joined with U.S. Navy
personnel aboard the USNS Mercy to provide post Asian tsunami
relief. RADM Beato would like to share with our readers Dr.
Winkenwerder’s note of appreciation regarding the efforts of
