|
This year, at the Commissioned Officers Association’s (COA) conference, the Junior Officer Advisory Group’s (JOAG) Professional Development (PD)
Committee will present the first ever Professional Development Workshop for junior officers of the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service.
The workshop will be held on Sunday, 5 June 2005, from 1800 to 2000 hours. |
| |
|
The PD Committee is very excited about this workshop which is meant to provide junior officers with the following: a foundation for presentations by the
Office of Commissioned Corps Operations (OCCO) during the conference; a chance to network with fellow junior officers in their specific categories; and an
opportunity to meet their category’s Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) Chair. |
| |
|
All presented materials will be posted on the JOAG Web site http://www.joag.org/index.html
before the conference. Please note: Officers attending the Professional Development Workshop on
Sunday evening will need to download and print the materials from the JOAG Web site before arriving
at the conference as copies will not be available during the workshop. |
| |
|
The PD Committee and the PD Committee’s COA Workshop Committee want to encourage all interested junior officers to attend the workshop and to review the workshop materials on JOAG’s Web site. |
