| The Dietitian/Nutritionist Professional Advisory Committee (D/N-PAC) to the Surgeon General of the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) is please to announce a call for nominations for the 2006 Senior Dietitian of the Year Award and the 2006 Junior Dietitian of the Year Award. |
| Senior Dietitian of the Year Nomination |
| Senior dietitians/nutritionists (Corps officers O-5 and above or civil service professionals GS-12 and above) nominated for ‘Senior Dietitian of the Year’ should demonstrate commitment to the mission of the PHS. The justification should describe the nominee’s accomplishments and contributions to the mission, ability to progress in a career or to attain career potential, and leadership in the achievements being cited. |

Junior Dietitian of the Year Nomination |
| Junior dietitians/nutritionists (Corps officers O-4 and below of civil service professional GS-11 and below) nominated for ‘Junior Dietitian of the Year’ should demonstrate commitment to the mission of the PHS and potential for an outstanding career. The justification should describe the nominee’s accomplishments and contributions to the mission, ability to progress in a career or to attain career potential, and leadership abilities. Contributions may be supportive to a larger project, or may reflect independent management of a small project or initiative. |
