| NIH to Hold Annual Promotion Ceremony on 27 July 2005 |

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) will hold its 3rd Annual Commissioned Corps Promotion Ceremony on Wednesday, July 27, at 1 p.m. in the NIH Clinical Center,
Masur Auditorium, 10 Center Drive, Bethesda, MD. The ceremony will honor officers who are being recognized for their accomplishments by promotion in rank during the
2005 Promotion Year as well as officers who have retired. |

Elias A. Zerhouni, M.D., Director of the NIH, will welcome the Surgeon General, VADM Richard H. Carmona, and Deputy Surgeon General, RADM Kenneth J. Moritsugu, who will
officiate as the individuals placing the new rank on the shoulders of each of the deserving officers. RADM Richard Wyatt will serve as master of ceremonies. |
