The new DCP Web site format features drop-down menus, which put most of the available DCP resources at your fingertips, allowing you to navigate to and from just about anywhere on the site, with the exception of limited access areas requiring a logon ID and password (i.e., DCP Electronic Fileroom, Agency Liaison Reports,  Commissioned Officer Leave Tracking System, etc.  In order to view these drop-down menus, you must be using version 3.2 or later of Microsoft Internet Explorer OR version 4.07 or later of Netscape Navigator.  In addition, you must have images, style sheets, and JavaScript enabled in your browser preferences.

To select a drop-down menu, move your mouse cursor over the topic button (About Us, FAQs, What’s New , etc.) in the menubar. The drop-down menu for that topic button will appear. Move your mouse cursor over the link you wish to select, which will cause the text color to change from blue to red. When the link color changes to red, you may click on the link and your web page selection will be loaded to your browser window.

As you move your mouse cursor from one topic button to the next, you will view different drop-down menus for each topic button. The drop-down menu will remain in place until you either select a link within the drop-down menu or move your mouse cursor over another topic from the main menubar. If you move your mouse cursor over a topic button by accident, and activate a menu you don’t care to see, clicking anywhere in the body of the browser window, away from the drop-down menu, will de-activate (“hide”) the menu.

PLEASE NOTE!  If you are using earlier versions of either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator than those suggested on the DCP Home Page:

These earlier versions do not support JavaScript.  JavaScript is needed to make full use of the new drop-down menu system.  If you are unable to upgrade your browser to a newer version, you may still access the links that would normally be displayed in the drop-down menus.  Clicking the topic button in the menu bar ( About Us, FAQs, What's New, etc.) will load a page containing the same links you would see in a drop-down menu, if you were using a newer browser version.
