Readiness and Response

The Readiness and Response Subcommittee is a subcommittee of the Nursing Professional Advisory Committee (N-PAC). This subcommittee was created to advise the N-PAC on readiness and deployment issues that affect USPHS nurses and to assist USPHS nurses in meeting basic readiness standards.

Goals

To enhance the USPHS Nurse Corps' capabilities and responsiveness by providing informative deployment and readiness resources to help prepare every nurse officer to meet current and emerging mission requirements.

Objectives

  • Develop, present and disseminate relevant clinical information to enhance the capabilities and responsiveness of the deployed USPHS Nurse Officer, monthly
  • Develop, present and disseminate information related to pre-deployment to meet the demands of a deployed environment, monthly.
