CDR Juliane Junes-Harvey, M.Eng., P.E.

EPAC Mentoring Subcommittee Vice Chair

CDR Juliane Junes-Harvey is an Engineer Consultant assigned to the Indian Health Service (IHS) Office of Environmental Health and Engineering (OEHE) Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction (SFC).  She is currently stationed at the OEHE Western Arizona District Office in Tempe, Arizona. CDR Junes-Harvey is also the Phoenix Area SFC National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Coordinator. CDR Junes-Harvey began her career with IHS in 2011 and became a USPHS officer in 2013. Prior to 2011, she spent ten years in the private sector with engineering consulting firms designing water resources, transportation, and environmental facilities. Her engineering experience with IHS has been duties as a Field Engineer, Senior Field Engineer, and Engineer Consultant within the IHS Phoenix Area service area.  CDR Junes-Harvey graduated from Arizona State University in 2000 with an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, achieved her licensure as a Registered Professional Engineer from the State of Arizona in 2009, and obtained her graduate degree in Engineering Management from the University of Idaho in 2017. 

CDR Junes-Harvey is currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Mentoring Subcommittee and has been the liaison between the Mentoring Subcommittee and EPAC’s Career Development Subcommittee in her first year as an EPAC Voting Member (2022).  Her hobbies include crafting and reading.  CDR Junes-Harvey enjoys spending time with her extended family on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico and her family in Tempe Arizona that includes her husband, two sons, and friends.
