LCDR Kevin Remley, P.E.

LCDR Remley graduated from Utah State University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering. His career started in the private sector where his work focused on soil and groundwater remediation, hydraulics, and hydrology. He entered the public sector in 2016 when he joined the Indian Health Service (IHS) in Spokane, WA with a focus on sanitation facility design and construction. LCDR Remley then transferred to Fort Hall Field Office in Fort Hall, ID upon his Call to Active Duty with the USPHS in 2017. In June 2021, he transferred to the IHS Navajo Area to fill the position of District Engineer for the Tuba City District. LCDR Remley is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Idaho.
LCDR Remley’s awards include the USPHS Individual Achievement Medal for superior efforts in accomplishing the IHS’s mission and leadership to improve sanitation facilities for multiple Tribes, the USPHS Individual Citation Medal for delivering a high level of service while receiving increased responsibilities and being absent for a deployment to the Navajo Nation, and the USPHS Unit Citation for his efforts as part of the Spokane District Technical Specification Standardization Team. Other awards include the 2017 IHS Portland Area Director’s Award as a member of the Sanitation Facilities Construction Project Development and Funding Team, the 2018 IHS Portland Area Director’s Recognition of Excellence Award, and the 2019 IHS Sanitation Facilities Construction Portland Area Senior Engineer of the Year Award.
LCDR Remley is a member the Society of Military Engineers and recently graduated from their Leader Development Program. He is currently enrolled with the New York Medical College as he pursues a Master’s in Public Health degree. LCDR Remley has been married to his best friend, Kelli, for 18 years and they have four children and a Goldendoodle. During his free time, LCDR Remley enjoys exploring the outdoors, exercising, board games, and baking.
