JOAG Engineer Liaison
LCDR Michael Wandersee is a Project Engineer for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at Lakewood, CO. He oversees a multitude of differing public health construction projects for public use and enjoyment. LCDR Wandersee is the only USPHS Officer in his agency. Previously, he commissioned in 2016 as a direct conversion at Indian Health Service, Rosebud Indian Reservation, SD, as a Project Engineer overseeing water and wastewater construction projects.
LCDR Wandersee is a Junior Officer Advisory Group (JOAG) Voting Member, serving as the Executive Secretary and JOAG Engineer Liaison. His liaison duties include providing valuable information that is helpful to EPAC and JOAG through.
LCDR Wandersee received his MS in Environmental Engineering from University of New Haven in 2019, and his BS in Biosystem Engineering from Michigan State University in 2010. LCDR Wandersee enjoys being with his wife, Vanessa, two young children, Sabin and Mavrick, and enjoying the outdoors.
