LCDR Susan Jordan, MS, RD, CDE

“As a Lieutenant Commander in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service (Corps), Susan Jordan has already demonstrated a most impressive history of service. I cannot imagine a Corps Dietitian more actively dedicated to our Corps values and deserving of this award. Having served with a wide array of Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Army personnel during my 35 year career, I have seen none who surpass this officer’s energy and commitment to excellence, leadership, and service.”

… to recognize a Dietitian/Nutritionist officer who has made extraordinary contributions to the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service and the Dietitian/Nutritionist category with regard to responding to critical events impacting the health of others including outstanding emergency preparedness, disaster response, and contributions to national or international public health threats.
