Call for Abstracts Announced for USPHS Symposium

| The 2010 USPHS Scientific and Training Symposium Planning Committee invites interested individuals to submit abstracts for consideration as concurrent track presentations for the conference, which will be held 24-27 May at the San Diego Sheraton Hotel and Marina. The theme for the 2010 conference is Public Health 2010: The Road Ahead. The deadline for abstract submissions is 12 November 2009 (5 p.m. ET). Visit www.phscofevents.org for details or to submit.
Submitters should be prepared to make a 30- or 60-minute presentation as part of tracked sessions. The presentations will take place on Wednesday, 26 May and Thursday, 27 May. Abstracts are sought that provide an opportunity for those engaged at all levels and settings of public health to share innovative and effective best practices and research that relate to the overall theme of the Symposium and the Healthy People goals of increasing the quality and years of healthy life or the elimination of health disparities domestically or internationally. Any topics falling within the scope of the overall theme or sub-themes will be considered. The 2010 tracks are:
