Corps Officer Receives Cambridge Who’s Who Award
CDR Uduak M. Inokon, USPHS was chosen this year as Cambridge Who’s Who “Outstanding VIP of the Year” representing all of the professionals in government agencies. She is one of ten women recognized in 2010 for demonstration and dedication to their industry, longevity, and ambition for pursuing their education as well as community service. She is the first officer of the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service (Corps) to receive such recognition from this international publishing company. CDR Inokon was also recognized earlier this year by her alma mater, Howard University, as Distinguished Alumnus for Outstanding Service in the Pharmacy Profession.

CDR Inokon, who is stationed at the Food and Drug Administration in New York as Drug Specialist/Investigator, conducts inspections domestically and internationally. She has been on the International Inspection Cadre for the drug program area since 2005 and has obtained numerous regulatory actions from her foreign and domestic inspections.

CDR Inokon started her career in the Corps as Investigator/Junior Level in 2002. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from Howard University, Washington, DC, in 1993; a Masters Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller International University, Paris, France, in 1998; and a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Boston, in 2009.
