Online Appointments for DEERS/ID Cards
On June 1, 2010, the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System (DEERS)/ID card office in Rockville, Maryland began using a new program to schedule ID card appointments. The PHS DEERS/ID card office implemented use of the Navy’s online Web Scheduler which allows qualified beneficiaries to schedule their own ID card appointments.

The Web Scheduler is a Web based application that is available to all uniformed services which affords active duty or retired beneficiaries the opportunity of viewing the appointment calendar in order to schedule the ID card appointment that is most convenient for them.

To access the Web Scheduler, beneficiaries must visit the site at https://rapids-appointments.dmdc.osd.mil/ and select the USPHS Rockville site to make an appointment. The ID card office is located at the Tower Building, 1101 Wootton Parkway, Plaza Level, Suite 100, Rockville, MD. Hours of operation for DEERS enrollment and ID card issuance are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Appointments are required and parking is available in the visitor’s parking lot for $5.00.
