2010 Medical Laboratory Scientist of the Year Award

CDR Karen Romancito, USPHS was nominated and consequently honored with the Medical Laboratory Scientist Professional Advisory Group’s (MLSPAG) 2010 Medical Laboratory Scientist of the Year Award.

CDR Romancito works in the Albuquerque regional area to provide professional regulatory oversight and laboratory consultation to local community clinics and hospitals where critical shortfalls exist in health care delivery. Her continued commitment and dedication to the Indian Health Service and our National pursuit of quality healthcare for underserved populations exemplify the support required by our profession; therefore she is proudly recognized for this annual award.
