The Information Technology Professional Advisory Group (ITPAG) functions in a resource
and advisory capacity to assist in the development, coordination, training, and
evaluation of activities related to the information technology professional discipline
in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service (Corps). Its purpose
and mission is to provide sound information and recommendations through the Professional
Advisory Committee to the Chief Health Services Officer on those discipline specific
and related matters that impact information technology.
Participation shall be elicited from each of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Operating Divisions and Staff Divisions, as well as from non-HHS organizations to which Corps officers are detailed, in order to provide the range of experiences and perspectives necessary to address issues before the ITPAG. Selections are made by the ITPAG voting members.
