| Inactive Reserve officers train along side active duty officers and the Medical Reserve Corps at the Office of Force Readiness and Deployment sponsored field training at Fort AP Hill, VA, 5-12 September 2009. Given the opportunity to attend the training, these officers obtained basic readiness in a matter of a month. One officer, newly direct commissioned into the Inactive Reserve called the training a positive “life altering experience.”
