Eighth Annual NIH Promotion Ceremony Honors 38 Corps Officers
The Eighth Annual National Institutes of Health (NIH) Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service (Corps) Promotion Ceremony honored 38 newly promoted officers on 28 July 2010.

The ceremony opened with the National Anthem, followed by the Public Health Service March, both performed by the USPHS Commissioned Corps Music Ensemble. The Invocation and Benediction were given by Chaplain John M. Pollack, Chief of the Spiritual Ministry Department at the NIH Clinical Center.

He commended officers for their commitment to the continued efforts in the ‘war’ against disease and poor health. RADM David C.
