Officer Profile System

These are exciting times. The Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service (Corps) is making great strides in personnel management software that will support the Corps’ personnel system, individual officers, and hiring Operating Divisions/Staff Divisions (OPDIVs/STAFFDIVs) of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Direct Access’ Self Service, E-resume, and Readiness Functions are up and running and available to officers. The new Billet System is well into development and Transformation will be initiating the Billet Collection System starting in January 2010. There will be a separate billet that matches each officer’s individual position. Direct Access is the tool that will merge the new Billet System and Officer Profile System data. Direct Access enables officers to disclose their accomplishments and OPDIVs/STAFFDIVs to match officer qualifications with OPDIV/STAFFDIV needs.

The registration of degrees, certifications, and licenses that are beyond an officer’s qualifying credentials into the Officer Profile System will enable officers to utilize Direct Access features to promote their current qualifications. This will have a positive impact on future career opportunities.

How to register degrees, certifications, and licenses that are beyond qualifying credentials:
  1. Click on https://dcp.psc.gov/cclogin/ccmislogin.aspx and logon or go to the Commissioned Corps Management Information System (CCMIS) Web site at http://dcp.psc.gov and logon in the ‘Secure Area.’
