Call for Nominations - Therapist PAC Membership

The Therapist Professional Advisory Committee (TPAC) is seeking new members. The
TPAC is composed of therapist officers in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service
(Corps) and civil service physical therapists, occupational therapists,
speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and respiratory therapists. The TPAC
serves as an active link between the Office of the Surgeon General and therapists
working in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Operating Divisions
(OPDIVs) and Staff Divisions (STAFFDIVs) as well as Corps officers serving in non-HHS
organizations. The TPAC meets six times annually via teleconferencing. To be eligible
for membership, you must be a therapist and a full-time HHS OPDIV/STAFFDIV employee
or a Corps officer serving in a non-HHS organization. Please visit the TPAC

New appointments serve a 3-year term. Self-nominations are encouraged. A self-nomination form is included in the December TPAC Meeting Minutes and is available on the TPAC Web site. The deadline for submission of nominations is 15 February 2008.
