Important Information Regarding eOPF Fax Lines |
To improve customer service for officers communicating personnel information to the Office of Commissioned Corps Operations (OCCO), two additional fax lines will be installed which will bring the total number to four lines for official use by officers. These fax lines are used to communicate personnel information to officers’ electronic Official Personnel Folders (eOPFs). The scheduled servicing will also involve the migration of the Viewstar application associated with the eOPFs to a new server which will improve efficiency of the system. |
In order to effect these changes, the eOPF fax lines will be temporarily suspended on Monday and Tuesday, 4 and 5 December 2006. After these dates, officers will be able to access the four fax lines. Access to the eOPF fax lines will remain the same -- 301-480-1436 and 301-480-1407; however each will now have an automatic rollover line. |
It is highly recommended that promotion-eligible officers submit their eOPF documentation as soon as possible; waiting until the last week of December may still result in increased difficulty due to congestion on the eOPF fax lines. OCCO ensures all documentation received by 31 December 2006 will be viewed by the boards. |
