About
Created in 2014 by the Office of the United States Surgeon General, the mission of United States Public Health Service Athletics is to protect, promote, and advance the health of the American people though fitness. First and foremost a health outreach program, Public Health Service Athletics is a venue to encourage participation in running, swimming, biking, walking, weightlifting, and other speed, strength, and endurance events, led by the members of the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS).
