Journeyman Speaker Series - JOAG's Bi-Monthly Speaker Series

The Journeyman Speaker Series is an hour-long, bimonthly (every other month) speaker series developed by the JOAG Professional Development Committee to bring relevant information to junior officers related to career advancement and officership.

These well-attended teleconferences have featured several prominent public health leaders such as CAPT Jerrold Farrell, RADM Richard Carmona, RADM (ret.) Kenneth Moritsugu, RADM Craig Vanderwagen, RADM (ret.) Jerrold Michael, RADM David Rutstein, and many others. Topics have included preparing for promotion, assimilation, the history of the USPHS, readiness and deployment, and being a leader in the USPHS.
