Current EHO benchmarks include obtaining one of the many environmental health and safety credentials. The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) offers the following nationally-recognized credentials.

Individuals who meet the requirements of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) are able to obtain the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)This is a link to an external site credential.
