Credentialing

Current EHO benchmarks include obtaining one of the many environmental health and safety credentials. The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) offers the following nationally-recognized credentials.

• Certified in Comprehensive Food Safety (CCFS) Credential
• Certified Environmental Health Technician (CEHT) Credential
• Certified Installers of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (CIOWTS) Credential
• Certified Professional - Food Safety (CP-FS) Credential
• Healthy Homes Specialist Credential (HHS) Credential
• Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Registered Sanitarian (REHS/RS) Credential
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Individuals who meet the requirements of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) are able to obtain the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential.

Graduate Certificates
