“Combating the health consequences of Nicotine addiction through education, research, and training"
The Nicotine Cessation Services Access Workgroup (NCSAW) is a cross-category, cross-agency workgroup formed in 2015 with the purpose of increasing access to tobacco cessation services for all, but specifically within communities with high tobacco use rates. The workgroup, consisting of Public Health Service officers, is currently working with other healthcare professionals in the areas of academia, government, and tribal organizations to combat use of tobacco products and prevent nicotine use among the nation’s youth.
NCSAW consists of several Subgroups that work to execute the goals of the workgroup. The diagram below shows the structure of the workgroup and its Subgroups.
