What else should I know about the PIR?
- The PIR for the PHS may differ from the Officer Information Summary (OIS) used by other agencies
- OCCO does not currently update the OIS so be sure you are reviewing the PIR before you submit changes
- Officers who have prior military service are strongly encouraged to verify that the military service time on the PIR is correct, as prior military service is a factor in determining your total time in service to the PHS
