Junior Officer Advisory Group

APFT Subcommittee

The APFT Subcommittee educates officers about APFT revisions. The APFT Team identifies and promotes opportunities for USPHS officers to train for, and take the APFT together. The Subcommittee strives to include officers in remote locations by assisting with networking and linking officers to train together virtually. The APFT Subcommittee collaborates with other Readiness and Deployment Committee (R&D) teams to achieve these objectives.

  • The APFT Subcommittee encourages officers to conduct group APFT events. To assist you in preparing to host a group APFT, we have created an Event Leader Guide, with some helpful hints.
  • To have your APFT event announced in the JOAG Listserv Announcements, complete this Submission Form.
  • Because we would like feedback about your event, please complete the Event Follow-Up Form after your event, so we can incorporate lessons learned and suggestions into the guide.
  • If you would like to advertise your JOAG APFT event on the PHS Athletics Events calendar, please clink on the link provided for "Getting Started": https://dcp.psc.gov/OSG/phsa/

If your group would like more information on the APFT, you can request a webinar, or ask questions by emailing the APFT Subcommittee team leads.
