January 4, 2013, PACE is launched as a voluntary effort for officers to provide health education and promote healthy lifestyles in their local communities in the Washington DC Metro Area
September 10, 2013, The White House invites LCDR Leo Gumapas and LT John Pesce as "Champions of Change" nominees for the creation of the PACE program.
PACE continues to expand into AZ and New England states and increasing the lesson plan numbers
The initial PACE logo is created:
PACE develops its first opioid lesson plan to combat the opioid epidemic. On December 9, 2016, PACE educates 250 lime kiln middle school students with the first opioid lesson plan.
