DIETITIAN PAC RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION SUBCOMMITTEE

Mission:

To develop and maintain projects and programs that aid in the recruitment and retention of dietitian officers in the United States Public Health Service (USPHS).

Responsibilities

• Assist Diet-PAC members in organizing and participating in recruitment activites, such as recruitment booths, job fairs, presentations, career days, etc.  This includes OSG-approved recruitment materials, such as "Best Kept Secrets".
• Support and track potential and actual applicants through the Call to Active Duty process.  This also includes Ready Reserve and JRCOSTEP applicants.  To learn more about the application process go to https://www.usphs.gov/.
• Support Officer Basic Course-related events
• Assist Diet-PAC in member retention efforts
• Prepare and coordinate the annual Dietitian PAC General Body Survey of category members
