Stakeholder and Community Engagement Subcommittee

Committee Charge: Manage activities within the communities; foster and manage relationships with the professional organization; and share community and stakeholder engagement lessons learned for other PAGs.

Communications Subcommittee

Committee Charge: The HAPAG Communications Subcommittee invites all interested officers to be a member of this dynamic team in support of the following activities: updating the HAPAG webpage, developing the HAPAG newsletter, and monitoring/promoting listserv requests and announcements.

Administrative Management

Committee Charge: Annually review/update the Uniform PAG Bylaw and SOP; solicit for new PAG members and manage the VM nomination/selection process; maintain the PAG Listserv and official membership roster.

Data and Evaluation Subcommittee

Committee Charge: Responsible for working with the HITPAG and the Analytic subcommittee to develop, disseminate, and analyze the surveys and other data from the PAG; and provide a supportive and/or content expertise to the analytic subcommittee.

Awards Subcommittee

Chair: CDR Shannon Beyale

Committee Charge: The Awards Subcommittee invites all interested officers to support its efforts in honoring healthcare administrators who have impacted the USPHS and the HAPAG. This committee annually solicits and administers nominations for the Excellence in Healthcare Leadership Awards, and looks for other ways to recognize HAPAG member.

Policy Subcommittee

Committee Charge: The Policy Subcommittee invites all interested officers to assist in shaping policy efforts and updating the bylaws and other policy documents (i.e., Strategic Plan, Subcommittee SOPs, etc.) on behalf of the HAPAG.

Training, Education, and Mentorship

Committee Charge: Provide discipline-specific continuing education and trainings; collaborate with the mentoring subcommittee to identify discipline-specific mentors as a component of the broader mentoring program.

Technical Readiness

Committee Charge: Determine what discipline-specific knowledge and skills an officer needs in order to successfully deploy based on their qualifying degree or discipline; serve as primary source of discipline-specialty information and training on response and deployment roles for the PAG, HS PAC and CC; provide discipline-specific training response and readiness training opportunities; disseminate information to the PAG on critical RedDOG readiness policies and information through the HS PAC Readiness Subcommittee and PAG/HS PAC Communication Subcommittees; initiate other readiness and response projects as assigned by the PAG Chair and HS PAC Readiness Subcommittee; and collaborate and coordinate activities with the HS PAC Readiness Subcommittee.

Recruitment and Retention Subcommittee

Committee Charge: The HAPAG Recruitment and Retention Subcommittee main focus is keeping officers engaged in HAPAG activities and working to recruit new HAPAG officers to become involved.
