Social Media Workgroup

Mission Statement: APAOC Social Media Workgroup focuses on raising awareness about relevant issues/events found within the Asian and Pacific Islander community and to drive traffic to our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn social media platforms.  This will increase visibility in order to be a force multiplier for the Surgeon General’s initiatives to reduce health equity challenges within the Asian and Pacific Islander community.

Goals for 2023:

• Recruit and train at least 25 officers for work group.
• Create at a minimum 260 posts across all social media platforms for OY 2023.
• Collaborate with all APAOC Committee/subcommittees to increase awareness of events, activities, and topics relating to our chartered group.
• Post at least 12 officer spotlights in the operation year
• Create USPHS APAOC LinkedIn account
• Keep SOP up to date
